As a rural regional community foundation, the Southwest Initiative Foundation is seeking to advance renewable energy as an economic
asset in southwest Minnesota. The Foundation created
the Renewable Energy Marketplace™ as a marketing strategy
to help position southwest Minnesota as the premier place for
commerce based on renewable energy. While it is not our
role to be the “energy experts,” we are committed
to providing leadership and resources that will position our
region for economic growth based on renewable energy.
