AgSTAR Program

AgSTAR provides assistance to farmers considering installing an anaerobic digester system.

AgSTAR Program is sponsored by EPA, US Department of Agriculture and the US Department of Energy to encourage the use of methane recovery (biogas) technologies at the confined animal feeding operations that manage manure as liquids or slurries.  These technologies reduce methane emissions while achieving other environmental benefits.
